Story
We did it. 430 miles which was virtualy all in brilliant sunshine! Toughest day was the last one from near Birmingham to London, 116 miles, passed all those traffic lights going into the capital. A great bunch of guys (including one lady). All 15 completed without any major problems.
The photo shows myself with Barbara Windsor at the finish!
Thanks again to all those who have donated.

16 members of Stocksbridge Cycling Club wiil be completing a 415 mile charity cycle in 5 legs from the 21st to the 25th May 2012. We start in Newcastle and cycle via Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, finishing in London. I will be cycling with them but as most of them are a fair bit younger than me, I will have to be on top form. My special advantage is my new carbon bike.
We already have support from Next, Irwin Mitchell, Claremont Hospital and Sage Cycles.
A collection at a recent Sheffield Metallurgical and Engineering Association event on 20/3/12 gave us a good start raising £240 on the night.
I would like to thank you in advance for any conribution you can make to this worthy cause. One of our club members lost a child through epilepsy.
