In February/March  Lawrence Dallaglio, some celebrity mates and about 200 crazies including yours truly (Looking spookily like Ali G!) are looking to raise £1 million split 50/50 between Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation, which raises money for two of my favourite charities, Cancer Research and Help for Heroes amongst others. Lawrence will be cycling to all of the 6 Nations stadia starting in Rome then onto Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff, Dublin and finishing in Edinburgh on 13th March... . That’s 24 days in the saddle and over 2,800 kilometres. I can't begin to comprehend that especially as prior to this the furthest I've ever cycled was the five miles or so to college quite a few years ago! So I and 48 other people are joining Lawrence and his core team on the fifth and final uphill stage, 549Km from Rosslare to Edinburgh.

Day one takes us 72km from Rosslare to Arklow, followed by a 75km detour to Dublin on day two. Day three is 86km closer to the end goal as we ride on to Dundalk, then 88km into Northern Ireland’s Belfast on day four. We rest on 9th March, catching a ferry to Scotland, then it’s back on the bicycles to tackle a hefty 103km from Stranraer to Thornhill. The 6th cycling day is a 70km trek to Lanark ready for the very final day - 55km to Edinbugh’s Murrayfield stadium and a triumphant end to a phenomenal challenge. for more details go to

I really need your support to get me there so please give generously!

Many thanks
