Bogle Stroll · 10 March 2017

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Most of us probably know someone who has suffered a stroke and I want to support the great work done by the Stroke Association, both in terms of support (after-care and rehab) and research (prevention).

The "Bogle Stroll" is probably my biggest challenge so far - walking and jogging 55 miles around Manchester in under 24 hours.  This goes right through the night.  If I succeed, I'll have made up for my miserable failure to complete it as a student back in 1981, 36 years ago!

NOTE: Last year, as preparation for this, I did the shorter 28-mile Bogle Ramble.  If you donated for that, there's no obligation to donate again this time!  Of course there's no obligation on anyone else either!!
