Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Great North Run for two reasons:

1) The aftercare they have given to my father (amongst many others) following heart surgery has been outstanding. They are a small local charity and heavily rely on donations.

2) I am having a mid-life crisis and having spent many years not looking after myself I have taken up running  and although the profile picture may not show this - I am actually enjoying it. However, a half marathon is a tough distance. (Not sure what's going to happen if I am successful in the London Marathon ballot!)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
