It's been a while since I did any charity fund raising, so I have decided to get on my trusty wagon again to cycle the Coast to Coast from Cockermouth to Whitby- a mere 200 miles!

I am doing this to raise money for London's Air Ambulance who recently played a part in saving a friend's life after a horrific motorbike crash. They picked him up from a race track in the Midlands taking him to a specialist London hospital for life saving treatment.

I am pleased to say that he is making a remarkable recovery, but this gave me a huge insight into the fantastic work these teams do, relying solely on charitable donations.
