In 2010 I was part of the GDBA team that compteted the National 3 Peaks to raise money for the charity members of the association and in 2011 we took on 15 Peaks in Snowdonia each over 3000ft. for the same great causes. This year we are taking on 24 Peaks in the Lake District including Scafell Pike and Helvellyn and will attempt to complete the route within 24 hours. The charities we support are all doing great work in the community in their various fields. I am personally involved as a volunteer with The Golden Lion Children's Trust and The Sussex Wildlife Trust and know just how important the money we raise is to them.The Sussex Community Foundation kindly collect sponsorship money on our behalf and distribute this to the charity members of GDBA.
