As you may or may not know I am currently in Michael Sobell House cancer hospice receiving round the clock care for the management of pain from cancer in the lung, spine and thighs. The nurses and doctors are fantastic and I can't praise them enough.
Over the last few weeks the pain has been intolerable, but since being attached to a syringe driver, which administers a cocktail of pain relief drugs automatically through a tube in my arm, my quality of life has improved beyond belief.
To show my gratitude to Michael Sobell House I would like to raise enough money to purchase another of these syringe drivers so others can also benefit from its use.
