Last year through the leadership and inspiration of our dear friend Peter Stapleton; a team of 21 cyclists rode 200 miles to Paris raising over £15,000 for St. Barnabas Hospice in Worthing.
Before we even returned from Paris, Peter was planning this year’s ride. Tragically Peter was taken from us in October and is greatly missed by his family and all his friends.
In his memory we are riding 300 (hilly) miles from Land’s End to the new St. Barnabas Hospice in Worthing.
St Barnabas is a totally self funded organisation which gives first class care to both patients and their families. It relies completely on donated funds.
This trip is totally self funded, and all monies raised will go to St. Barnabas.
We are a mixed bunch with ages from 20 through to mid 60’s, most of which regularly work out at the Esporta Gym in Rustington.
Our aim is to raise £10,000 for this great cause and with your support we could beat last year’s £15,000 total.
I know Peter will be smiling down on us if with your help we achieve this.
