We want to provide more care & support to help people with a life-limiting illness

Story

I will be climbing Kilimanjaro this September (29th -10th October) in aid of the Cotswold Care Hospice. They provide care for people with life limiting illness and really do a remarkable job - they simply need your help to continue to do what they do.

This climb will be in memory of Jane Weaver, my mother who recently passed away after a 10 year battle with cancer. She benefited greatly from the help given to her by Cotswold Care - a charity that needs £2,400,000 per annum to operate.

I'm sure this climb will be a challenge and hopefully an unforgettable experience, but it will be more about helping this charity to help people with the most debilitating illnesses who have their own mountains to climb - the charity really does make a difference.

Thanks for taking the time to read my page, and thank you for your donations.

13th October 2010 - Back in the UK after an amazing time in Tanzania. Climbing Kilimanjaro has been and unforgettable and utterly rewarding experience. Sincere thanks to everyone for your donations and support - it has been a team effort! Now to the next challenge.....

14th June 2010 - Day of rest after completing the 3 peaks challenge - while not strictly succeeding (4 hours over the 24), the UK's three tallest peaks in succession is quite an achievement....photos to follow - bring on Kili !!
