I will be climbing Kilimanjaro this September (29th -10th October) in aid of the Cotswold Care Hospice. They provide care for people with life limiting illness and really do a remarkable job - they simply need your help to continue to do what they do.
This climb will be in memory of Jane Weaver, my mother who recently passed away after a 10 year battle with cancer. She benefited greatly from the help given to her by Cotswold Care - a charity that needs £2,400,000 per annum to operate.I'm sure this climb will be a challenge and hopefully an unforgettable experience, but it will be more about helping this charity to help people with the most debilitating illnesses who have their own mountains to climb - the charity really does make a difference.
