Myself and seven other members of the Glasgow Helping Hands Committee at Hymans Robertson have agreed, in a moment of madness, to brave the cold February weather and sleep out overnight to raise much-needed funds for our local homeless charity, Glasgow City Mission.
I am only doing it for one night but I am going to be experiencing some of the conditions that many of the Mission’s clients live with long-term.
We will be sleeping rough on the rooftop (!) of the GCM building, which is fully open to the elements, so we will have to be prepared for whatever the weather brings.
