Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu, Peru · 8 September 2014

Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Story

From high remote mountain trails to the first magical sight of the legendary Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, this is a challenging trek.  Those words convinced me that it was worth doing!  I must be mad to consider such a significant challenge, but it really is now or never, so both feet in and off we go.

To raise funds for two well deserving charities will bring much needed support, and we know that both are always in need of continuous funding to support their work year in year out.  Hopefully we will not require their services ourselves, but often they will be there for you or your families at times of need.  And that is why we are doing this trek.
