We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Having served in the Armed Forces for 22 years I wanted to take part in a fundraising event close to my heart. ABF The Soldiers' Charity, provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need. As I am 60 this year I am going to celebrate by dragging my currently very overweight and unfit body along 100 km over 3 days as part of the Frontline Walk through the WW1 battlefields.

I have set myself the 4 to 8 challenge. I am going to lose 4 stone over 5 months whilst walking 678  miles in training. (And now it’s here in black and white I can’t back out!) If you know me, you will appreciate that is quite a challenge so your support would be appreciated!
