The charity's three helicopters and four rapid response vehicles operate 365 days a year, with doctors and paramedics on board providing enhanced prehospital care to people across the entire North West region.

Story

IN APRIL 2014, I SUSTAINED OVER 20 FRACTURES, INCLUDING SERIOUS SPINAL AND PELVIC INJURIES, AFTER FALLING 60ft WHILST TRAINING WITH OLDHAM MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAM. 


OLDHAM MOUNTAIN RESCUE IN CONJUNCTION WITH NORTH WEST AIR AMBULANCE SAVED MY LIFE.


ON 6TH SEPTEMBER 2015 I WILL BE ATTEMPTING TO SWIM 100 LENGTHS OF SADDLEWORTH POOL (NO MEAN FEAT WITH SO MUCH METALWORK IN MY BODY!) IN ORDER TO RASIE MONEY FOR THESE VITAL LOCAL SERVICES.
