As you may or may not know I lost my Dad when i was 19 to a heart attack, he was just 46 years old. This was a tragic time for me and my family and we all think of him every single day. My wife also lost her Dad when he was 56 to a sudden heart attack. 

Its because of this that whenever I see a`chance to raise a few quid I always support The British Heart Foundation. Heart disease is still the number one killer in this country affecting 1 in 5 men and 1 in 8 women. 

I am taking part in this years London Marathon and although you could say I have done a little running in the past, this will be my first attempt at the marathon distance of 26.2miles!!

Any money you give is sent directly to the British Heart Foundation helping them to continue their much needed research.
