The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Hi

I'm taking part in 2 significant bike rides this year I'd appreciate your support for this worthy charity who help disadvantaged young people in the UK.

On the 5th October I'm part of the 100 plus Oracle team completing the Palace to Palace bike ride which is from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle . As a team we are looking to raise a substantial amount of money to enable the trust to make a difference.

The Palace to Palace ride is a real team effort to raise money and before that I have a major personal challenge on the day the Tour de France starts in the UK (5th July). I'm taking part in what is widely regarded as one of the toughest cyclosportives in the world La Marmotte in France. This ride is 174 km (108 miles) long which is a challenge in it's self but the 5100 meters plus of climbing is what makes it so hard. I will be climbing 3 of the most iconic mountains in the Alps including Alp de Huez all of which have appeared in and helped determine the out come of the Tour de France many times including last year.

Hopefully I'll survive the La Marmotte and recover in time to play my part in the team for the Palace to Palace ride!

Thank you for your support
