Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A group of 7 MAMILs (Middle Aged Men in Lycra) are cycling 620 miles from Calais to the South of France in 6 days. We are then going to cycle up the legendary Mont Ventoux which is one of the most famous mountain stages of the Tour de France.

We are putting our creaking bodies on the line to raise as much as we can for the Home from Home Appeal.

The Home from Home Appeal is aiming to raise £500,000 by December 2014 to provide Relatives’ Accommodation for families whose loved ones are undergoing lifesaving treatment at The Walton Centre.

The Walton Centre is a specialist centre for neurology and neurosurgery.
