St Margaret's Somerset Hospice - Mandalas & Mountains · 21 October 2012 ·

St Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.

Story

In 2010, I took part in the Great Walk of China along some 50 miles of the Great Wall (and thousands of steps along the way) and thanks to many generous donations I raised over £3,000 for St Margaret's Hospice which provides invaluable, free care for those living in and around Somerset.

Like other similar organisations, St Margaret's needs to raise significant funding to operate it's facilities in Taunton and Yeovil particularly as local NHS support is being withdrawn.

These are very difficult times for many charities - this is why I have committed myself to raise a similar amount for the hospice by signing up to the challenge of trekking the foothills of the Himalayas in April 2013

I would be very grateful for your kind donation to help me reach my target - any amount you are able to give is greatly appreciated.

With many thanks

Phil
