My story
HI - And thanks for visiting the JustGiving page for my LONDON TO PARIS bike ride.
FACT - I turned fifty in February this year. Fortunately I'm not alone, apparently it's massively popular with someone in the UK turning 50 every 40 seconds according to the Office of National Statistics.
HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT BEING 50? Honestly? Not great.
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? I'm going to 'man up' and do something positive that's what. Turn back the body clock and get myself fit enough for another fifty years and in the process raise as much cash as possible for Chelmsford Samaritans, a very worthwile and deserving cause.
SO OF COURSE YOU'LL BE EAGER TO SPONSOR ME. I have fully funded this trip myself so you can be assured that all of your generous sponsorship will directly benefit the charity. Any amount would be very welcome.

Samaritans of Chelmsford and Mid Essex, works for the assistance of people who are suicidal, despairing or in distress by offering confidential contact by phone, e-mail or face-to-face. It is intended primarily for people living in Chelmsford, Mid Essex and the surrounding area.
