Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

The Snowdon Trust are building a society where disabled people no longer face barriers in education or the workplace. Your fundraising will cover the costs facing disabled people e.g. wheelchairs (this is not covered by statutory funding) and accelerate the potential of future disabled leaders.

Story

Less than a week to go - injured, but still going ahead, against just about everyone's advice, and putting my cricket season in jeopardy!

26.2 miles, I must be mad - anything to avoid the congestion charge! Apparently essential kit for the marathon includes plenty of fluid, decent running shoes, and an Oyster Card to get you round the Docklands in no time at all.

It is for a good cause, though, so please help out if you can, I really appreciate donations of any size. The Snowdon Award Scheme is a charity that provides grants to students with physical or sensory disability, to help them complete further or higher education or training.
