Having run the London Marathon and a couple of half marathons this year, cycling has started to appeal as something different.  However when Countrywide asked employees to take part in the unique project that is The Great Tour I thought it sounded interesting but that I'd give it a miss - firstly because I didn't have a bike and secondly because I hadn't ridden regularly for over 30 years!  

However, having followed the tour on social media and through a number of my colleagues taking part, I couldn't resist the temptation to have a go and so I've signed up just in time to do the (thankfully relatively short) final stage and take all the glory!!

Oh and I've now got a bike, and today (two weeks before the final stage) have started training - and surprise, surprise I enjoyed it!

So here I am again asking for a few quid in support of a most worthwhile charity, who undertake fantastic work supporting people when they most need it.
