Story
On Tuesday 16th March Luke Wright aged 19 had an accident whilst on holiday in Mexico.
He broke his neck, and spent over a week there in the Intensive Care Unit. He was flown back to the UK via Air Ambulance on Friday 26th March.
He is now based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in the National Spinal Injuries Centre where he will remain for many months as he begins his rehabilitation.
On the 21st and 22nd August the eight of us will be cycling Coast to Coast from St Bees in Cumbria to Whitby in North Yorkshire. We are doing this to raise money for the Stoke Mandeville foundation, whose main aim is to improve the quality of life of people with spinal cord injuries through research. http://www.buckinghamshirehospitals.nhs.uk/NSIC-spinal-foundation.htm1
