Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having discovered fitness (and lost a lot of weight), I want to put it to good use!
Doing 10k of the St George's School Great Curry Run is a milestone for me - never thought I'd be able to run 5k let alone 10k and I am going to be putting the exercise to good use!
After raising £43,000 for the Soldiers' Charity in 2013, we are aiming for more this year. All participants are linked in some way to St. George's school, Harpenden: staff, parents, students, ex-students, governors, parents, one-time parents, ex-staff, friends, hangers on. On April 27th 2012 they are doing either 24km, 10km or 4km, depending on whether they are able to do 10 metres for each serviceman killed in Afghanistan; or whether they are adding in those seriously wounded, or every person wounded in action. The forces have taken 2400 casualties killed or wounded since 2001. Help us to help them
