Team Puzzle (Phil Copsey, Mark Bull, Chris Lawer and Chris Kidd) will be taking part in the Extra Mile Challenge - a gruelling 500+mile cycle ride across France to the foothills of the Alps.
Two thirds of the money raised will go to supporting the work of the Puzzle Centre Charitable Trust - a centre of excellence in early intervention for pre school children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and/or communication difficulties. Both Phil and Mark have children on the autistic spectrum that have benefitted from the amazing work that Puzzle undertakes from its specialist nursery provision.
The Puzzle Centre transforms the lives of autistic children and provides much needed support to their families. Puzzle's work is entirely dependent upon donations - a gift of any amount will make a big difference to pre-school autistic children and their families. You can find out more about Puzzle and its work at http://www.puzzlecentre.org.uk/index.html.
The remaining third goes to the the Extra Mile chosen charities (split between Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire Air Ambulance, SSAFA Forces Help and the British Sports Trust, together with the charity funds of the two organising Rotary Clubs).
