Ruby Laura Young's Journey - Philip Exall Brighton Half Marathon

Brighton Half Marathon 2015 · 22 February 2015 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After having been overtaken by a seven foot Pot Noodle in the 2004 London Marathon I decided to hang up my running shoes. However, having been told about Ruby Young, a two year old who desperately needs our help I have dusted them off and will be running in the Brighton Half Marathon on 22nd February 2015. The furthest I have run in the last 10 years is to get the last slice of pizza at the all you can eat Pizza Hut buffet!!! So please sponsor me to help this lovely little girl.
Ruby has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggresive form of childhood cancer. The family are fundraising for the NCCA UK to help Ruby, and other children like her, should she need to follow an expensive treatment path. With a high risk neuroblastoma diagnosis the probability of relapse is high. Through Ruby's Journey, the NCCA UK can ensure that every possible avenue for treatment is open to her.
