On Sunday 13th September at 9:30am I will be taking the water of Lake Windermere and completing (or dying in the process) a mile swim in support of Henshaws Society for Blind People in Knaresborough. As you will appreciate this will be a fairly difficult task (for someone like me that has the swimming ability of a brick) especially as the water at that time of the year will be a testicle tightening 16 degrees!!
