Mental Health is becoming one of the UK's biggest risks. At the University of Kent we have seen an increase of students declaring that they have a mental illness, with waiting lists at both the University's counselling and the NHS being weeks long. Whilst more people might be more willing to talk about their mental health, the problem still lies in that there's not enough provisions available to provide adequate support. This is why I'm fundraising for Mind, who are one of the leading mental health charities in the UK who have the research and influence to help.
