At Northern Ireland Hospice, we care for more than 4,000 babies, children and adults with life-limiting illnesses, both in Hospice and in the community. We look after every patient's nursing, medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs with support for their family continuing into bereavement.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's great to reach the grand old age of 50, there'll be lots of time to party and rather than have presents, I'd like to use my birthday celebrations and your generosity to help others who are going through a tough time and the people who care for them.

When my mother was terminally ill with cancer, she received a lot of support, care and love from the people at the Northern Ireland Hospice.  The Hospice makes every patient feel special, and provides the best possible care to patients and their families.  If you have any doubt about how well they do this, ask Papa!

There is no charge for hospice care, if you need it, its available, and they rely upon donations from people like you and me.  So this is my opportunity, through you, to give something back.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please, don't buy me a present, just dig deep and donate to the Northern Ireland Hospice.

Thanks,

Philip
