Story
Hi, thanks for visiting my page. On the 1st May I am walking the 147 miles of the Viking Way from the Humber Bridge to Rutland Water for the charity Beating Bowel Cancer.
It’s ten years this year since I was diagnosed with bowel cancer . It’s thanks to modern medicine and wonderful support from friends and family that I am able to attempt this . It will involve ten consecutive days of walking through Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
I am walking to thank those that have supported me and also in memory of both the many people whom I have known and the many I never met who were unfairly taken from us by this disease.
My aim is to dedicate each mile to a particular person affected by bowel cancer . If you would like to “sponsor a mile” in memory of someone you knew, or if you just want to make a donation, then please hit the "donate now" button.
Your donation will go to the charity to help in the wonderful work they do offering vital support to patients and raising awareness of Bowel Cancer .
Thanks
