Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Like many of you, I was recently nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge. Of course, I've accepted the challenge on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support - but with a twist!  IF.....I can reach my fundraising target of £250, THEN.....I will complete the challenge on 30th October 2014 at Everest Base Camp!! This feat will of course be filmed and shared as evidence (providing I survive - haha!). 

My trek to Base Camp will be the fulfillment of a lifetime ambition and is entirely self-funded, so every penny raised will go directly to my chosen charity. My dad and several close friends bravely fought various forms of cancer, and some - including my dad - tragically lost the battle. Macmillan nurses provide a lifeline of care during the hardest of times.
