The British Thyroid Foundation provides information and support to help people better understand and manage their thyroid condition. We also fund and support vital research to improve treatments and outcomes for thyroid patients both now and in the future.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I decided to take on the challenge again of the London Triathlon. 1 to improve my time, 2 to take on a few family members who have signed up and 3 most importantly to raise money for a charity that does not have a lot of recognition.

The Charity I am hoping to raise money for this year is the British Thyroid Foundation. Several people I know suffer from a Thyroid disease and it affects their lives hugely. The aim of the British Thyroid Foundation is:

  • To provide support for those with thyroid disorders and for their families
  • To provide information to those with thyroid disorders and to the medical profession
  • To establish regional support groups
  • To raise funds for research.

With your help you can support a very valuable charity and support the research that goes into helping people with this disorder and help make their lives better.
