Going Bald for Little Princess Trust · 6 December 2014

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

As most of you are aware I am very attached of my flowing long facial locks – and they have been attached to me for about the last twenty years.
But I am looking at shaving all 12inches (real inches not just men’s inches) off to help raise money for a local children’s charity.

Every year Young Gloves Karate holds a charity competition to raise money for a local children’s charity, chosen by the club members.
This year’s charity is the little Princess trust.

The Trust provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment. The wigs they provide are free to children.

Now I am not proposing that they use my lovely beard for a wig!!

However, the cost to the charity to purchase one wig is on average £350 and I would like your help to raise as much money as possible towards this cost.

After all - my beard will grow back (maybe?) but some don’t have that luxury!
