Story

Updated on Sep 11th 2011 at 9:45 PM from the JustGiving API

DSNE provided me and my family with invaluable information and support when Maya was born, they really did help us when we were entering into the unknown and 8 or so years later, they still provide us and others with that little bit of what we need when we need it most. It's now time I gave a bit back and what better way than to heave my less than athletic carcass 13.1 miles from Newcastle to south shields on sunday the 18th September. I truly believe that that sort of distance should only be covered on 4 wheels and believe me, I will suffer, but if it raises a few quid for a charity close to my heart, then the blisters and chafed nipples will be worth it! So, please spare what you can for a very worthwhile cause in the hope that others like Maya can benefit from the work that they do! Thanks folks!
