April 4th 2014 is a day I will never forget and neither will my family and friends.
My amazing daughter found me suffering a stroke and recognised it instantly from the FAST promotion.
Her rapid response ensured that I was receiving the thrombolysis for an ischaemic stroke in under 2 hours.
She saved my life!
I am doing the 'Step out for Stroke' to say thank you to Beth, the Royal National Hospital, the Professionals, the Stroke Team/Association and the very special 'Stroke Family' I have made on the Stroke Association website.
