Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dad and I, combined age of 124, are going to attempt to climb Kilimanjaro in February 2017 in memory of my Mum who we lost so suddenly just before Christmas 2015. Mum had climbed Kilimanjaro just before she first met Dad in Northern Rhodesia (Zambia now) hence the reason for choosing Kili as the challenge in her memory.

We would like to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice where Mum was cared for over the last three days of her life. The wonderful compassion, kindness and care that they showed to Mum was shared with the whole family. This helped us through a very difficult time.

We would be very grateful if you would consider supporting us on our climb by donating here on our Just Giving page so that others can receive the same comforting care that St Richard’s offers when it is most needed.

Many thanks

Phillippa and Jonathan
