Abesu was set up in 2007 following the death of my friend Gill from Nottingham University. It is about empowerment and with just a little resource Mitengo women can achieve sustainable livelihoodsthrough self build house construction.
By asking for donations to mark my 60th, I want to honour her memory and celebrate the next era of my life.
