I am running a marathon for the first time to raise money for a small charity that is very close to my heart, Speakeasy.

As some of you will know, my mum had a stroke a few years ago and ever since has had problems communicating.  The problem is called Aphasia which affects the way people process words & numbers.  Many of you will be related to or know of people that have a similar problem, they may even have Aphasia and not know it. 

Speakeasy are trying to raise awareness and help people affected regain their confidence and learn to do the things again that come so naturally to you and me.  They have helped my mum so much since she was introduced to them and I really would like to give something back, with your help.

I know times are hard for everyone so we would be most greatful for any donations, whether it is £2 or £20.
