It feels to me like throughout my life heart desease has affected several people close to me, from my best friend was diagnose as having a hole in his heart at a young age, to someone i dated in my twenties who too had open heart surgery at the age of four. I've also played a part in an unfortunate event where i had to give CPR to an angina sufferer who had a massive heart attack & sadly died as a result, to witnessing a good friend/colleague of mine  having a heart attack at my work place, but im pleased to say he survived, all praise be to god for the rapid response of the emergency services.

These events all contribute to me wanting to play my part in raising awareness as well as money through the London to Brighton Bike.
