Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Hi,

Thank you to everyone that donated last year, I managed to raise a whopping £800 and witnessed first hand that money being put to great use with East African Playgrounds.

This year I am taking part in a new challenge. I am cycling to Berlin, 600 miles of road and roughing it, in aid of deafblindness, fundraising for a charity called Sense. Deafblindness is a combination of extensive sight and hearing loss and affects a person’s ability to communicate, to access all kinds of information, and to get around. Sense is a fantastic charity that works to support and campaign for the children, adults and families that suffer from deafblindness.

I'm hoping to beat last years fundraising total and I need all the support I can get so please, if you can, donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep, thank you x
