Story
I'm riding in the London-Surrey 100mile road race on Sunday July 31st 2016 to raise money for UNICEF.
This is my first cycling event of any kind and we will be riding the same route as used in the 2012 London Olympics.
This will be a major challenge for me and i am already training hard with just over 3mths to go. I'm hoping to cross the finish line outside Buckingham Palace in a time under 7hrs. (8hrs 30mins is the max time allowed.)
UNICEF is a fantastic charity that helps vulnerable children around the world with food, shelter and medicine. Quite simply it is a cause that every human being on the planet can get behind with no 'ifs' or 'buts'.
So please donate $15 / €15 / £12 now and make the lives of some children a little bit better!
_______
My fundraising target is $1000 which would buy:
Blankets for 200 babies
OR Clean water kits for 50 families
OR Polio vaccine for 8000 children
OR A 'School in a box' for over 300 children
OR A shelter to act as a school or a health clinic
