3 Peaks Challenge · 24 April 2013

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As Mayor of Bicester this year I have been raising money for 23 Pioneer Regt. (Royal Logistics Corps) Benevolent Fund to support the men and families of our local Regiment in Bicester.

The Regiment has seen 3 fatalities and several seriously injured soldiers over the last few years highlighting the danger of the work that they have been undertaking in Afghanistan. Not only have they had the support of the Regimental Benevolent Fund but the Army Benevolent Fund has also been there for the Regiment.

As my year as Mayor comes to an end I want to round things off by really taking on a challenge. Call me mad but this is one that I want to do and so with members of 23 Pioneer Regiment we are doing the 3 Peaks at the end of May. Please support me in this mad scheme!
