<p>Charlie was just two weeks old when we were given the devestating news that he had suffered brain damage at birth.</p> <p>Trying to come to terms with this and unable to bring myself to take him to "normal" baby groups we were given the opportunity to go to the Nigel Hunter Nursery, who provide a safe nursery/play environment for children with additional needs.</p> <p>The ladies at the nursery made us feel so welcome and straight away saw the potential Charlie had and worked with him (and me) to unlock that potential. They provided him with his first walking frame, blew bubbles to make him smile and giggle and last year thought he may like to try out a trike...a trike that has completely changed the way Charlie spends his weekends and puts the BIGGEST smile on his face.&nbsp;</p> <p>Last year we pushed Charlie around the 3 mile route in his wheelchair, this year he'll be pedaling round the course in his beloved Tomcat trike and we'll all have massive smiles on our faces!!!!</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
