We are raising money on behalf of my mother, Maureen Gledson, who has been brutally struck down with an aggressive brain tumour. Ten years ago, Maureen bravely overcame a massive operation to remove a large benign tumour. Sadly several months ago she was diagnosed as having another growth which has proved to be malignant and her decline has been rapid.

Sadly my mother, Maureen, passed away on June 10th, peacefully in St. Yrieix la Perch hospital in France. She is greatly missed having touched so many lives.

We are raising money for Brain Tumour UK who provide practical and emotional support to brain tumour patients and their families and also increase awareness and knowledge of brain tumours and research into the disease.

Team Pirate Badgers (John and Tony Gledson plus supporting crew) will be driving from Plymouth to Timbuktu to raise money for this worthwhile charity so please help us achieve our target and make a difference.
