Welcome to PiratesOfTheCar-I-be-in just giving page! 

We are a group of 3 friends from the Univeristy of Exeter, Penryn Campus (Eva Mannan, Alex Goddard and Cai Bishop-Guest) partaking in the challenge of racing to Amsterdam from the 1st of April to the 3rd. 

Our challenge is to be the first of 10 teams to get to Amsterdam (Meinger Hotel) from Penryn Campus without booking any tickets in advance/and or prior planned help. 

We will be hitchhiking there and fundraising along the way to help us get to our destination; by dressing up as pirates and completing fair challenges we hope to make the trip all the more memorable and exciting! 

This page is for us to reach our goal target of £225 (or more plz) which will be money that we will give directly to the charity Alzheimer’s Society. 100% of all these donations WILL got to the charity AND NOT OUR HITCHIKE COSTS (this will be raised from 1st-3rd April during the challenge). 

We all would be grateful utterly grateful if you could contribute anything to this challenge as Alzheimer’s Society remains a charity close to our hearts. Team member Eva Mannan’s grandad was affected by Alzheimers and unfortunately passed not knowing who he or his family were.  She and her family first hand took care of him in his last moments and charities such as Alzheimers Society provide support to families and individuals affected.
