Story

James & Daisy were born with a rare genetic eye condition known as achromatopsia.

Achromatopsia affects the cone cells in the eye, preventing them sending signals back to the brain.

This results in a severe sensitivity to light causing almost total blindness on very bright days. In addition achromats also suffer from complete colour blindness and reduced visual acuity.

Moorfields eye charity are currently funding research into gene therapy as a prospective treatment of achromatopsia. If this is successful it could mean a massive improvement to James' and Daisy's future lives.

To raise money for Moorfields eye charity we are attempting to score 100,000 points on the dartboard in one 12 hour stint. This is an average of over 138 points per minute!
