Having accompanied two groups of children on residential trips in the past two years, Carol Brown and I have seen at first hand the huge benefits to young people of a centre like Dukes Barn. The excellent facilities in conjunction with first class instructors provides a safe and secure environment in which young people are able to experience truly life changing outdoor activities. Dukes Barn also provides exactly the same amazing opportunities for disabled children and adults. We believe this is a really fantastic place, and any support will directly help countless young people. We have seen with our own eyes how in a very short period of time people can be transformed. They conquer fear and face tough challenges. This builds self-esteem and gives great confidence and pride in their own abilities. A fantastic character building experience!!

Recent fundraising has meant a new all weather sports area for wheelchair users will be built in the near future. The current fundraising project is to enable a new climbing wall building with overhead rail support for disabled climbers to be constructed. This will need £350,000.
