St Leonard’s Hospice is an independent charity, providing care and support for local people with life limiting illnesses. We have an In-patient Unit, Sunflower Centre and Hospice@Home service. Our care is free of charge to patients and their families but not free to provide.

Story

On Sunday 20th October, this year, a team of dedicated Pocklington Runners will take part in the first Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon.

They are: Sharron Anderson, Tracy Baty, Marcus Bourne, Giles Brighton, Harry Bryan, Debi Cahill, Lindsay Cameron, Paul Coe, John Dobson, Jill Dowson, Simon Drew, Jess Fox, Andrew Gill, Lucy Hammond, Sarah Hargreaves, Linda Harvey, Alan Kendra, Dan Mayo, Gordon Mellor, Nadine Pennington, Helen Pickersgill, Patrick Piggott, Mike Pullon, Kimberley Raper, Daz Reevell, Debbie Rycroft, Simon Rycroft, Adele Shipley, Stuart Smith, Jodie Tate, Gary Tebbutt, Di Thompson, Lisa Walker, Simon Weedy, Lisa Wiles, David Wragg and Beverley Varley.

We are running in support of St Leonard's Hospice in York and we have committed, as a club, to raising a total of £1,500 for this really good cause.
