Story
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">On Sunday 29th April 22 runners will take to the streets and run the 26 miles of Manchester's first Marathon in a decade!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Then, on </span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Wednesday 2nd May, 26 poets will read poems from their own repertoire as well as other specially selected poems, all on the theme of Freedom from Torture. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">The event is expected to last around 3 hours, representing the time a (good!) runner would complete a marathon. There will be two ‘Water Station’ intervals on the way with musical entertainment.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">The event will take place at the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">International Anthony Burgess Foundation</span> in Manchester from 6.30pm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">There will be a suggested donation of £5 on the door but we encourage everyone to come along! If you are unable to attend please support this great event and all our runners and poets who are working so hard to raise money for Freedom from Torture. All money raised will go towards our work, providing therapeutic and medical care to survivors of torture in the U.K.</span></p>
