The Refugee Council is the nation’s refugee charity. Together with community groups, partners and volunteers, we help people who have escaped war and persecution to rebuild their lives, integrate into communities, and play their part in Britain.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Justgiving page.

Between 12pm and 10pm on Sunday December 11th a relay of 50 poets and readers will each read for 8 minutes throughout the day at the Komedia, Brighton to raise much-needed money for The Refugee Council.

Free entry at the Komedia, 44-47 Gardner Street, Brighton.

Audience members can join us at any point throughout the day, staying as long or as short as they wish. There will be refreshments, a book stall and a tombola, as well as information about the charity.
