The Charity was formed and is run by parents who have all utilised the ward. The aim of the organisation is to preserve and protect the mental and physical health of parents, guardians and families of babies treated in Buscot Ward by the provision of information and support.

My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am wanting to raise funds for the charity BIBS - Babies in Buscot Support which is the premature baby unit where Millie spent many weeks in intensive care after being born 3 months early.

I am currently training to take part in an event that takes place on the 5th September which is the Bramley Iron Mums challenge which includes a 6k run, 12k cycle and a perimeter strength sprint. I would like to complete this event in the best time I possibly can and by doing so raise money for BIBS which is a charity that has been set up by parents of newborn babies who received lifesaving treatment in the unit, provides practical and emotional support and tries to raise funds for medical equipment.

If it wasn't for the intensive care Millie received at this unit she would not have survived. I hope you will consider sponsoring me even if it is just a tiny amount.
