The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Profile: Pooh Bear, running on behalf of our chosen charity The Prince's Trust, as his name suggests, enjoys life at a relaxed pace.  Preferring a snooze in his basket for 18-20 hours a day (substantial even by ferret standards), he is not known for his competitive streak.  Instead, he is a ponderer and tackles obstacles only following periods of contemplation. Thankfully for his owners though, he is well rehearsed at the upcoming course and as a result should need little by way of mental preparation in order to complete it.

Race chances: Perhaps best summed up in the words of Winnie himself: People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”
